The Senior Operations Analyst will be a critical member of the Advertising Business Systems team within Walmart Global Tech organization. Our primary stakeholder is the Walmart Connect business unit, and our team is responsible for many of the systems utilized to run the advertising business. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Ad Operations teams, as well as Product Managers, Data Analysts and Technical Program Managers to deliver solutions that will enable growth through system and process improvements.

Working within Walmart's Advertising Technology group, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, product managers, technical project managers and engineers to develop and enhance advertising technology solutions that enable the connection between supplier brands and retail shoppers at unprecedented scale. You will be supported by a highly motivated group of engineers and data scientists, working in an agile group to solve sophisticated and high impact problems. We serve billions ofadrequests every month with ourhigh-performancead servers. We build smart data systems that ingest, model, analyze and optimize the massive flow of data from online and store user activity and transactions. We use cutting edge machine learning, data mining and optimization algorithms on this data. Above all, we are laser focused on delivering experiences that our customers and advertisers love. 

Walmart Connect (the digital advertising team for Walmart properties) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers

The Senior Operations Analyst, Advertising Business Systems will:
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional peers within the ABS team, product managers and Technical Program Managers to drive alignment and move projects forward.
  • Support the business operations for the media planning process, order management systems and systems integrations between internal software solutions and third party software such as Placements.IO, DFP and Prisma.
  • Execute certain technical manual processes required by the business in cases where automation has yet to be achieved.
  • Manage 1-2 3rd party vendors that are part of the Tech stack, including the day-to-day management, issue resolution, and coordinating their roadmap with our internal teams.
  • Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.
  • Be game to take on anything else fun that comes up.

You Must Have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics or engineering.
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience in Online Advertising Technology or Operations.
  • Ability to support the executive level storytelling and communication.
  • Detailed oriented and organized with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects.
  • Well-versed in Excel
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management and ability to work well in cross functional settings.
  • High level of accountability.

5 years’ Service Desk experience or equivalent
