Summary of Job Duties:

The Bus Operator will drive a transit bus on campus and city streets to safely transport members of the campus community and the general public on fixed scheduled bus routes. This position will perform a prescribed pre-operational safety maintenance check, as well as accumulate and record statistics for daily reports on fixed route service. Other duties as assigned.

Regular, non-disruptive, and reliable attendance is an essential job duty, as well as the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Razorback Transit offers paid CDL training to help you obtain the required Commercial Driver's License for this position.


Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications:
  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • Age 18 or older
  • A valid Driver's License in good standing
  • Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, as evidenced in application materials
  • Must be able to passDOTphysical examination and obtain aDOTmedical examiners certificate
