Recruiting Intern - Louisville, KY

Paid Internship (up to 6 months)

Full time (flexible schedule)

Job Summary:

Recruiting Interns are responsible for the front-end of the hiring cycle. As more fully described in the essential job functions below, this role is primarily responsible for sourcing and prescreening candidates to be considered for Aerotek's local customer base.

Essential Functions:
  • Generate candidates through various sourcing methods, including but not limited to Aerotek's database, social media platforms, job boards, resume databases, referrals etc.
  • Conduct intro calls with job seekers and perspective applicants
  • Document call notes and relevant updates to candidate status
  • Screen candidates for specific skill sets, experience, education, etc.
  • Create candidate profiles in applicant tracking system (Connected)
  • Partner with Senior Recruiters to facilitate next steps in the hiring process
  • Generate leads and referrals

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 - 2 years' work experience in a service oriented role
  • Clear communicator, technical savvy, customer focused
