Day shift Manufacturing Technician Supervisor

Primary and Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of technicians across an entire shift
  • Responsible for safety of the technicians and for driving continuous improvements in safety
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering leadership to set priorities. Support tool maintenance troubleshooting as needed
  • Responsible for providing performance feedback to Technicians, including coaching and DPM documentation
  • Work with module owners to improve procedures and specifications
  • Maintain team compliance to all safety, and non-safety training
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance; work with manufacturing team to minimize impact on production. Work with Technician team to ensure procedural compliance, and maximize efficiency
  • Utilize and respond to critical down reports as needed
  • Manage any factory excursion or safety related issues that occur on shift
  • Work closely with section managers on Safety, Quality, 5S, Cost, ZUM and Cycle Time improvements
  • Directly responsible for 1st pass success
  • Lead / support passdowns, rotating across modules as appropriate based on fab priorities.

Minimum requirements
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience working in Engineering, Technician or Pit Crew capacity in fab environment or related technical degree

Preferred qualifications:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
    • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
    • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
    • Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
    • Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
