Job Description:

The ESG Associate will be an integral member of the Blackstone Credit (BXC) ESG Team and will help drive ESG initiatives across BXC. The ESG Associate will interface with senior members of BXC and other areas of the firm. This individual will lead efforts around ESG data, analysis, presentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing ESG research support to the BXC investment teams who are integrating ESG risk as part of the investment process
  • Building a framework for ESG reporting
  • Working collaboratively to create and maintain ESG presentation materials, investor reporting, and other communications for key stakeholders
  • Responding to investor ESG due diligence questions, including coordinating responses with individuals across BXC and the firm

The successful candidate should have:
  • At least 3 years of work experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Finance, ESG or Audit; credit experience is a plus
  • Significant interest in the ESG space; relevant work experience and/or academic degree a plus
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Robust work ethic and positive attitude
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Ability to manage projects independently and to completion
  • Excellence demonstrated in prior endeavors
