Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI), has created an Enterprise body worn camera suite of products to assist Retail, Security, Logistics, Healthcare, Education and other industries improve their safety, security. reduce loss and improve efficiency.

Job Description

The Enterprise Body Worn Camera (BWC) sales team is responsible for direct and indirect sales of enterprise BWCs and LPR for an assigned sales territory in the Northeast Region of the United States. The Sr. Solutions Sales Representative (SSSR) will pursue new accounts and opportunities, support assigned channels / distributors / dealers / resellers, invest time wisely in messaging, developing, respond in a timely and professional manner and be responsible for meeting the overall sales goal for their territory.

The Sr. Solutions Sales Representative will be responsible but not limited to the following:
  • Build astrong revenue pipeline and close new business
  • Recognize and act on opportunities, develop and grow account contacts, be timely with follow-up on product issues, and be responsive to customer needs and requests
  • Effective use of conversational questioning skills to uncover customer needs, issues, and other information necessary to successfully close opportunities
  • Assist in fulfilling all customer care responsibilities and other sales support requirements to ensure maximum customer retention levels
  • Team player who works well with others and respects the responsibilities of peers including channel partners. The SSSR is timely and accurate with all administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to expenses, training, conference calls, PO claiming, special discount requests and opportunity qualifying. The SSSR should show a level of urgency when responding to internal partners, external customers and channel partners
  • Continually conducts oneself in a highly ethical, moral, and professional fashion. The SSSR is consistently on time for meetings, conference calls, and other time-sensitive events. The SSSR has a high degree of loyalty to MSI core customers and makes decisions based on the overall MSI customer needs

Additional Skills/Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Considerable understanding of the technology trends affecting the use of body worn cameras in an enterprise / security environments for employee / employer protection, risk and liability reduction / mitigation
  • Understanding of the technology trends affecting the use and value of BWC technology as it relates to the commercial environment
  • Considerable experience in selling and deploying BWC in an On-Premise and / or Cloud environment(s)
  • Experienced in managing a sales territory, developing and implementing sales plans
  • Prior background in direct and / or channel technology / solution sales is preferred
  • Superior organization and time management skills. Detail oriented with excellent follow-through and follow-up
  • Diligent work ethic. Willingness to take initiative and ownership of opportunities and move deliverables to completion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills and understanding the value of the Cloud environment for software / storage use and scalability
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement. Communication skills to present the opportunity and achieve buy-in.
  • Experience developing, presenting and executing strategic plans and business cases to achieve buy-in of necessary stakeholders such as MSI product teams
  • Candidates will be expected to grow the Enterprise BWC / LPR business with new and existing opportunities, negotiating contracts, hold sales training, and promoting the value of our solutions

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales / public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales / public safety
