Duties: Conduct research and analyze complex data to provide investment insight, commentary, recommendations, and strategy for retail, institutional, corporate, and government clients. Research complex financial information, including debt, economics, equity, fixed income, and quarterly and annual results. Provide analyses and forecasts of the United States, Canadian, and relevant international real estate and financial markets. Address the needs of clients and provide relevant ideas and opinions to generate recommendations. Stay abreast of industry events, including new regulations and technological innovations, flagging new information. Deliver an outstanding client experience, building effective relationships with both external and internal stakeholders. Conduct financial analysis of industry groups and individual securities, including valuation and analysis of financial statements and press releases. Develop financial models to project the future performance of the company for use as a basis for sophisticated valuations. Apply appropriate technical concepts and analyses to extract insights and complete and lead consistent and reliable technical and financial analyses to support client deliverables. Analyze strategic problems, providing insights and recommendations. Examine financial reports, organize data, and collect material to present and summarize complex data in a straightforward way. Manage databases and provide support for analysis, forecasting, and data visualization. Conduct primary research using electronic databases, industry overviews, surveys, and other methods. Perform extensive industry and company analysis, and data sourcing to create and maintain models. Create company and industry reports and notes on relevant investment themes and events that are company specific and industry specific. Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules. Develop recommendations based on an understanding of the coverage universe and stakeholder needs. Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports. Consider risk, internal controls, and compliance as part of day-to-day accountabilities and adhere to policies and procedures. Provide feedback on and support continuous improvement opportunities. Integrate information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis, and streamlined reporting.

Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration and two (2) years of experience with financial markets and financial analysis of U.S. and international financial markets, economic trends, and individual companies and securities, as well as developing models for sophisticated valuations of companies. Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): two (2) years of experience researching and analyzing complex financial data and key themes impacting financial markets, including debt, economics, equity and fixed income, securities, and quarterly and annual results; performing extensive economic, industry, securities, and company analysis and data sourcing to create and maintain financial models and develop investment themes and outlook; and, analyzing financial reports, organizing data, and collecting material to present and summarize complex data in a straightforward way.
