Looking for work life balance working from home doing Natural Language Processing? Look no further as we have just the job for you!

Leidos is looking for Data Scientists who want to be responsible for the collecting, cleaning and munging of data to facilitate natural language processing (NLP). The candidate must be familiar with NLP contextual analysis in order to judge the suitability to enable information for discovery and decision support. Our data scientist are part detectives and business analysis. The detective work comes in handy when parsing, clustering, and stratifying the data to find and amplify signals in the data. The business analysis is used to determine what signals they should look for based their understanding of the client's business goals for collecting the data.

These are the fun things you will be doing on the job:
Be responsible for handling and directing technical teams to extract, transform, and load for features to support NLP for multi-domain datasets. You will be customizing and creating various machine learning algorithms to multi-domain data and determine and implement ways to optimize that performance of those algorithms on the data.

Employ NLP libraries/toolkits like Stanford CoreNLP, Spacy, NLTK, Word2Vec and Gensim along transformer models like BERT. With those models and libraries, explore subjects like domain adaptation both with supervised and unsupervised approaches. Build domain adaptive prototypes to examine the operational capabilities of bi-directional learning. Need to be a self-starter and honestly self-assessing to know when to seek assistance. Also, the position requires you to conduct research, document that research, submit your research for publication, and present your research at conference and other public forums.

• Working knowledge of Word2Vec, NLTK, BERT
• Discernment of when and how to use machine learning regulation
