Business Office Program Manager

Summary

Facebook is seeking an individual skilled across multiple disciplines to support the Business Office team within Enterprise Engineering Operations. The Business Office Program Manager will assist the department with the Business Office's priorities, deliverables, and communications across EE Ops pillars.The person should enjoy working in a complex, highly active environment where innovative design, planning, execution and communication is key to their success. The role works closely with the Business Office Manager and Programs Center of Excellence team to help deliver operational expertise for initiatives across EE Ops and to our cross functional partners. Communications will be a large part of this role and the person should be comfortable working with people at all levels to create and distribute communications. This is a new pillar within the organization so the person will need to be able to navigate and thrive in a continuously changing and evolving environment.

Required Skills

  • Support annual programs for Enterprise Operations like strategy planning, headcount and budget planning, in partnership with finance and strategy and planning team
  • Support organizational strategy, communication and connection with critical leadership groups within Enterprise Operations and the broader Enterprise Engineering team
  • Accelerate work on emergent priorities at multiple levels and across the full Operations portfolio, as necessary, and synthesize content and information in order to enhance focus and deliver on the key elements of the work needed
  • Work with internal partners to prepare background for meetings (e.g., identify goals, problem statements, prepare slides/background material/pre-reads, draft talking points when necessary, provide background on attendees when appropriate)
  • Create light structures, templates, project charters and ways of working that help support projects and initiatives that lead to efficient and effective decision-making and outcomes


Minimum Qualification

  • 3+ years' work experience in consulting, research/analysis, or internal strategy
  • Adept at problem-solving and distilling key concepts into clear problem statements, goals, and focus areas
  • Experience running complex projects and bringing structure to undefined/abstract initiatives
  • Relationship-building and communication skills, including being adaptable to stakeholders' feedback and needs and working with diverse global teams
  • Experience working with people at all levels both internally and externally
  • Experience in distributing communications to wide audiences at different levels regarding organizational programs and services


Preferred Qualification

  • Fluency working with data and analytical reports
  • Experience in creating learning and development mentorship programs
  • Experience using tools, processes and approaches to help land inclusive, but efficient decisions
