Site Name: USA - North Carolina - Research Triangle Park, USA - Pennsylvania - Philadelphia Posted Date: Jun 28 2021 As a Product and Portfolio Innovation Analyst (US) you will lead projects with a matrix of team to scope, develop and implement innovative DD&A technology solutions and projects across the PSC organisation. You will work directly with Digital Innovation Director and other senior members of the team to develop the DD&A project portfolio. These projects led by the Innovation director are strategic in nature, often seen as key vehicles of step change in the supply chain operation organisation. In this role you will drive innovative DD&A methodologies to create new product process or material insights, site manufacturing operational efficiency and supply chain optimisation. Your responsibilities: The technical development and delivery of DD&A projects across multiple manufacturing and supply chain domains working within a project team consisting of technical personnel, manufacturing supply chain teams, data professionals and project managers You will work with the TDI Innovation Director to communicate and influence senior members of PSC organisation (Including PSC Supply chain Directors and their respective LTs) to develop and deliver innovation projects Work with PSC Site representatives to see opportunities, develop technical solutions and evaluate their suitability through cost benefit analyses Responsible for ensuring technical development and timely delivery of the project deliverables, from project conception to proof of concept/proof of value. You will work with the TDI director to contribute to the project technical development and design including input to program PIPs and project return on investment Provide DD&A technical input to wider TDI Innovation projects and strategies Responsible for ensuring the delivery of business value associated with the project Ensure successful technical engagement of any third-party partners involved in the implementation of a project Technical evaluation of third-party partners and offered solutions for potential application within the PSC organisation Working with the TDI Innovation Director to provide technical input to various project steering team forums Why You? Basic qualifications: BEng/BS - pharmaceutical sciences, computer science or data science 5+ years experience in technical leadership of project teams to drive innovative novel projects with high return on investment's. 5+ years experience in evaluating new technologies and solutions and development of a business/benefits case. 5+ years experience in manufacturing supply chain operations Preferred qualifications: Competency in Python Technical D&A skills Awareness and understanding of common data science tools Understanding of data science and analysing big data and statistical science Strong leadership, influencing, communication and organisational skill Proven capability of generation of new technical DD&A methodologies/ approaches to solve business problems Strong technical foundation with a wide breadth and depth of DD&A technical knowledge Capability of anticipating technical regulatory impact of projects and working with TSL to mitigate Why GSK?
