Manager, Talent Transformation Catalyst

The Manager, Talent Transformation Catalyst will have accountability for driving talent outcomes for Prudential’s Transformation Office (TO). You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of practitioners deployed to work on Prudential’s most significant transformation initiatives.

The TO has been established to drive Prudential’s transformation to become the company our customers, employees and shareholders need us to be. We will harness organizational changes to help the company deliver on its ambition of becoming better, bolder and faster.

Working closely with, and relying on expertise from, partners across the company, the TO will simplify decision-making, clarify accountabilities, accelerate execution and streamline reporting of Prudential’s Future of Work (FoW) initiatives in support of our purpose.

Your success in the role will be assessed by execution excellence in implementing data driven solutions across talent strategy, organization design, job redesign, change management and new ways of working.

What you will be doing:

•You will play a key role in helping to execute the talent transformation framework for workstream and initiatives defined by Prudential’s Transformation Office

•Provide expertise and support from the perspective of talent transformation

•Drive FoW discussions and workshops with business leaders

•Design talent roadmaps with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners

•Assess the function/ business through a robust talent diagnostic approach. Analyze different datasets such as employee database, skills and org metrics to triangulate on the current state of the organization

•Conduct a root cause analysis on the problem statement and propose levers to address those problems. Work with various stakeholders to socialize the approach, get buy in and create a plan

•Assess the change required to execute on the process and identify gaps in context of new ways of working, roles, talent capabilities, processes, systems and technologies.

•Identify the right operating model to create business value. Ensure the org is redesigned with all the elements in consideration (ways of working, collaboration with stakeholders etc.)

•Re-define roles of the future based on the business values and the outcomes. Link them to the workflows and collaboration mechanisms

•Support the businesses in their workforce planning process with respect to future roles and skills. Shift focus from workforce planning to strategic workforce planning/ work task planning. Help identify supply and demand gaps and levers to address them.

•Partner with various Business COEs to leverage and integrate business and functional capabilities

•Act as Subject Matter Expert on Talent Transformation for the specific business and the function

A Manager, Catalyst will be responsible for:

•Providing workstream initiative support including the creation of presentation

materials, establishing agendas and tracking open action items

•Partnering with Change Management resources on overall Change Management plan and execution

•Partnering with Business communications to drive messages that reflect FoW capabilities

Skills Required:

•Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced degree in relevant disciplines a plus: MBA, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior or Organization Development

•Minimum five years of relevant Business, HRBP, Organizational Design/Effectiveness, Change Management, Project Management and/or Data Analytics experience preferred

•Facilitation Skills: Ability to guide a group of leaders through a process and drive effective outcomes. Ability to set boundaries, understand the group dynamics and handle difficult situation to arrive at specific results

•Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex questions, perform root cause analysis, evaluate solutions in the lens of creating business impact

•Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with different teams and influence them without authority. Ability to collaborate with teams across functions and business and deliver results. Comfortable working with different teams in fast paced and dynamic environment

•Consultation & Influencing Skills: understanding of the values of the organization and the social and emotional motives and needs of people

•Proficient Knowledge of Org Design, Org Effectiveness, Workforce Analytics and Change Management IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL CATALYSTS WILL RECEIVE TRAINING ON THE PRUDENTIAL FUTURE OF WORK TALENT FRAMEWORK

Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $98,000-$139,200 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
