We are seeking an Engineering Leader to be the Chief of Staff for our entire Integrated Test Engineering (ITE) organization. The ITE organization develops and delivers test solutions for our complex electronic products to both our factories and to our engineering teams. This organization needs your help to lead the critical efforts that will evolve the organization into the world-class test solution provider of the future.

The Role: In this role, you will:
  • Partner and collaborate with business leaders across the enterprise to ensure ITE business objectives are achieved.
  • Support the Electronic Systems ITE Director as a key member of the leadership team.
  • Act as the focal point for all activity within the ITE strategic projects including strategic planning, bid and proposal approaches for engineering, engineering strategy and integration plans across the enterprise, engineering staffing, issue reporting, and risk and opportunity management.
  • Establish goals and standards of performance, create budgets, staffing requirements, and short and long-term strategic plans that are aligned with the direction of the business

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BS Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of work experience, or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to lead a large, diverse, and complex organization across multiple sites.
  • Extensive technical leadership experience in hardware, software or test development and ability to create alignment within the organization.
  • Ability to formulate a vision and implement action plans to achieve goals.
  • Proven performance in management, mentoring, coaching and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and decision-making ability.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience in RF networking, electronic warfare or countermeasures
  • Experience in state-of-the-art test methods for hardware products in a high volume manufacturing environment
  • Experience with product development using the AS-9145 process or similar
  • Experience with Agile development practices and / or DevSecOps
  • Experience with Digital Transformation
  • Familiar with design for test paradigms, test software, and data analytics
  • Experience working in a classified environment
  • Experience leading organizational change
