Electrical Assembler 3 second shift


Job Description
This operator will run the AOI inspection machine to determine the quality of the soldered components on the printed surface board. Soldering of surface mount components and touch up may be required for compliance. Employee will be trained to use the x-ray machine to determine compliance of parts that cannot be viewed under the microscope. This position is to support the second shift factory operations in the EWIMC Front End operations.



Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Skills:
  • Minimum of two years of experience soldering SMT devices.
  • Experience in surface mount equipment is a plus.
  • J-STD-001 certification is required; IPC-A-610 is a plus. Operator must be highly proficient in understanding the requirements of J-STD-001.
  • Must be able to repair defects that are found by the automated inspection.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including process sheets, bills of material and assembly drawings.
  • Must be able to use microscope for duration of soldering or inspecting.
  • Must be highly computer literate to use BAE production systems.
  • Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
