Sr IT Business Analyst Business Analysts within the IT Business Performance Group at PRA work in a global team environment to define, deliver and improve complex software applications used by thousands of PRA employees worldwide.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Accustomed to being held accountable for user satisfaction
  • Team-player with a team-first attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong relationship building; enjoys collaborating with others
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile software development experience
  • Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment such as the Pharma, Biotech, or CRO industries, particularly within Pharmacovigilance
  • Experience working with custom Salesforce.com apps
  • Professional certifications such as CSPO, BACP, IIBA, PMP

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, define, and prioritize user requirements
  • Diagram As-Is and To-Be business processes and review with stakeholders
  • Proactively research best practices and align solutions accordingly
  • Participate in design sessions
  • Work with agile software development teams to deliver new features and enhancements
  • Demonstrate software changes to stakeholders, solicit their feedback, and work with the development team to make improvements
  • Participate in software validation by authoring user acceptance test cases and facilitating test sessions
  • Support existing products by triaging issues, identifying short term workarounds, and coordinating long term solutions
  • Work with software vendors to validate and deliver their products and services
  • Function as a leader on the project team and liaise between business users, software developers and testers, validation analysts, solution architects, and third-party vendors
  • Represent the Business Analysis team to continuously improve IT processes
