WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking an experienced, high caliber. Commission Analyst in out Austin, TX location. The Commission Analyst, will collaborate with key business stakeholders in the Global Clinical Affairs Organization to carry out technology strategies and find solutions for business needs related to the efficient execution of clinical trials. This role is instrumental in facilitating business involvement, decision making, and coordination of business resources to deliver and implement high quality projects and prepare each functional clinical affairs group for changes impacting their areas. This position acts as the liaison in understanding the field clinical affairs information or process needs and identifying solutions alongside clinical business entities and leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrate and calculate commission/bonus payments for the Sales Compensation and Bonus Plans and per the related Employee Agreements.
  • Analyze, interpret and implement Sales Compensation Plans and related Employee Agreements.
  • Highly proficient with relational databases, and the ability to quickly become proficient with new software/applications/upgrades.
  • Highly skilled in database and spreadsheet analytics, and the ability to process data mining techniques.
  • Demonstrate and exercise excellent personal relationship and written/oral communication skills with internal and external customers, and the ability to follow-up on communications within 24-hours.
  • Perform periodic audits of commission / bonus payments, make recommendations for improvements, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Demonstrate the ability and desire to work and assist team members with duties and tasks during critical situations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interface regularly with related groups or departments as it relates to functions within the Commissions / Bonuses Department.
  • Participate on project teams in the implementation of new/upgraded designs in software and processes.
  • Performs related projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree inOperations or related field. 3-5 years of experience in/Operations orrelated field, sales operations or business analyst equivalent. Ability to create and deliver complex business solutions in today's changing business environment. Comprehensive verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Requires highly developed experience sufficient to assume responsibilities of multi-tasking, prioritizing projects, meeting deadlines, forecasting milestones within a budget.
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Project Management skills.
  • Financial Modelling Expertise and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong bias towards self-checking quality control to deliver robust, reliable data. Precision and accuracy while being able to work with some level of ambiguity and data assumptions is a must-have.
  • Understand limitations of current systems and be comfortable to fill in with assumptions as appropriate.
  • Identify and prioritize areas for process improvements
