In this client-aligned role, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for successful delivery of procurement goals and objectives in support of the sourcing and operational activity tied to management of clients' services spend categories.

This individual may lead a team of procurement professionals, or be an individual contributor focused on sourcing and negotiation of projects within in-scope categories of spend.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver procurement results aligned to overall client value which may be defined as financial performance (cost savings), efficiency, and/or quality of delivery
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and drive program value and overall adoption
  • Assure attainment of all program level SLAs
  • Develop our people to become leaders
  • Establish SOPs and evolve as needed
  • Leverage technology to drive efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain, influence and develop relationships at all levels of customer, suppliers and within AGS
  • Conduct or support sourcing activities including RFP, negotiations, contracting, price analysis and program management
  • Liaise with client sourcing and category management organization to enable and execute on established strategies
  • Ensure that best practices and standards developed within the Procurement COE are leveraged and implemented within client program
  • Deliver program insight and visibility to deliver full value of AGS solution and transparency to activity and results
  • Innovate and drive practices and solutions


Qualifications

  • Considerable experience in sourcing and procurement operations
