Job Description

We need a candidate who will review the performance of our current system integration partners within their territory in order to hunt for new partners to replace with non-performers, continue onboarding partners who have potential and drive conversion opportunities with all partners in order to ultimately lead with Openpath as their choice of access products.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, target and onboard strategic system integrators in a given territory.
  • Present our product and software solution highlighting key differentiators to targeted customers.
  • Consistently work with system integrators to uncover new construction, renovation and conversion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teammates to provide ongoing support for existing customers.
  • Make joint calls with integration partners to add value, further develop relationships, uncover new opportunities, and help increase revenue for partners.
  • Join forces with our technology partners to hunt for leads.
  • Utilize our engineering team to be able to answer technical support questions and efficiently respond to customers.


Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in selling access control solutions
  • Proven success as a 'hunter' in the channel partner space
  • Established partner relationships in territory
  • Competitive drive, persistent, positive, and energetic.
  • A good listener, able to understand objections and overcome them.
  • Can operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Highly organized, can juggle multiple competing priorities and tasks.
  • A strong communicator (verbal, written and interpersonal).
  • Ability to work well with a variety of personalities to build strong relationships.
  • Possess a can-do attitude and willing to roll up your sleeves and help grow the business.


Territory:
  • The territory for this Regional Sales Manager is: IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, OH, W. PA, WI


Location & Travel Requirements:

This individual must already have established residency in the territory with our preference to this individual residing in Chicago, IL Must have proven ability to work out of a home office. Travel is anticipated 25-50% of in-territory travel.

Basic Requirements

  • BA/BS highly preferred. Will consider those with proven experience.
  • 5+ years of industry professional work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
