Motorola Solutions is a world leader in the field of professional mobile communications systems with an impressive heritage of technological innovations and a global base of installed systems.

This department is responsible for selling Motorola Solutions WAVE & TLK Mobile Broadband portfolio through Motorola North American Channel Partners.

Job Description

We are seeking a top-performing sales professional to drive incremental sales of our industry leading mobile broadband solutions and business radio products. As a Channel Sales Executive, you'll focus on partnering with Motorola Channel Partners to generate new opportunities, upsell existing customers, and drive prospecting and strategic initiatives all while maintaining excellent partner/customer relationships. Success in this role will require you to take responsibility for equipping the partners for success through product training, sharing best practices, and pre-sales support.

In this role you will also:
  • Develop new accounts, while maintaining and growing existing accounts
  • Partner with prospective clients to understand business needs, issues, strategies, and priorities and deliver value-added business solutions that meet a wide variety of customers' needs
  • Build and develop networks to share information and cultivate prospects
  • Leverage industry knowledge and applications in order to develop opportunities and identify key trends and customer needs


Qualifications:
  • 2 - 4 years' experience in B2B sales in an outside or direct sales environment
  • Experience selling business telecommunications and/or mobility solutions direct to mid-market, mid-size or enterprise businesses is preferred
  • Demonstrated success and sustained record of meeting and exceeding sales goals/quotas
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline is preferred


Location & Travel Requirements:

This individual can reside anywhere on the East Coast. Travel for this role is expected to be 25 - 50% of the time. All travel will be based in North America.
