Privacy Analyst

Job Description

The Privacy Analyst is responsible for supporting Allegis Global Solutions' (AGS) Data Protection efforts, globally. The Privacy Analyst will work in conjunction with the Allegis Group Global Privacy Office and the AGS Information Security team which aligns to the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Department. The Privacy Analyst collaborates with teams across the organization to support the global business strategy while mitigating privacy risks and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.


· The Privacy Analyst performs contract reviews of data protection terms and conditions in vendor and customer agreements.

· The Privacy Analyst is responsible for responding to data protection questionnaires for customers.

· The Privacy Analyst is instrumental in assisting with implementing strategies developed by the Allegis Group Global Privacy Office to support the responsible and compliant uses of data, including implementing policies and procedures regarding data, the proper use and methods of handling data, and related issues.

· The Privacy Analyst is responsible for assisting with the creation and maintenance of relevant documentation for the proper handling of data and flows charts for the proper mapping of data.

· The Privacy Analyst is responsible for working with the appropriate teams to assist with/perform Data Protection Impact Assessments.

· The Privacy Analyst has the responsibility of staying current and advising internal stakeholders on data protection developments.


· Minimum of 2 years' experience In Privacy, Information Technology, and/or Information Security

· B.S. in Computer Science, Business, or related major or equivalent business experience

· Knowledge of data privacy/information security frameworks and audits such as NIST and SOC2 Type 2; preferred but not required.

· Knowledge of the staffing/outsourcing industry

· Knowledge around information technology/information security

· Knowledge around global data protection/privacy law

· General knowledge of risk management concepts

·Ability to draft, review, and amend contracts

· Ability to understand the AGS business and relate those business processes to the necessary legal/regulatory obligations

· Entrepreneurial Spirit

· Self-directed and able to learn quickly and work with a broad range of internal stakeholders and external customers

·Ability to adapt rapidly changing business processes and work efficiently under tight deadlines

· Attention to detail and the ability to ramp-up quickly in new environments and on new teams

·Ability to adapt to conflicting ad hoc deadlines and priorities and deadline demands by controlling the daily management of multiple simultaneous workload requests; strong organizational skills

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to customize messages for a variety of internal and external audiences; must be able to correspond in a professional manner and present to large audiences through in-person and online outlets

·Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams within the organization (information security, business development, business processes)

· Ability to communicate effectively with teams located in various regions around the world
