Sr IT Business Analyst

Job Description

Platform management includes strategic planning in the form of roadmaps (AOP) and continuous evolution of the systems within the platform and how they interface/interact with other systems within the Biogen framework.

Work with customers and stakeholders, agile leaders, architects, tech leads, and engineering leadership to develop and maintain product vision
  • Be the Platform Subject Matter Expert to support platform system projects from initiation, development, and implementation.
  • As Project/Program Management specialist, this role is responsible for program management understanding and drive project/programs forward, communicate effectively with stakeholders and IT functions, and perform trade-offs to optimize risk and performance.
  • Communicate and advocate the product vision
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or requirements workshops.
  • Work with internal and external customers to prioritize development requests for the product
  • Work with architects and engineering leadership to turn vision and customer requests into roadmap and milestones
  • Define and articulate personas, user journeys and key success metrics for the product
  • Clarifies questions on requirements, translate business requirements into technical stories in Jira/Kanban board
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with business units that rely on that information to define system requirements or organizational processes.
  • Acting as a liaison between business and IT groups.
  • Evaluating the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog with appropriately sized epics and stories
  • Work with development teams to address questions/concerns during sprints
  • Lead and communicate the release plan, advocate for the value of the product release
  • Engage with customers for product adoption and collect feedback
  • Constantly re-prioritizes the product backlog based on customers feedback and leadership direction
  • Provide support for the products/technology in the PE/CTT space.
  • Monitor performance/engagement of product/project resources (onsite/Offshore)


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience
  • Knowledge/Experience in Patient Engagement and Clinical Trial transparency
  • Experience as a business analyst/BA core skillset.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Agile
  • Working experience in AEM platform and Analytics (AEM and Google)
