Senior Consultant Business Systems

Upon resumption of normal operations, this role may be performed at our Buffalo, New York office.

The role is a Regional Lead Architect-Americas as part of the Compliance-AML programme. The regional lead architect will provide architectural guidance to the region across Compliance and AML. The regional lead has an all-encompassing role to support solution architects in delivering their products as well as consultancy to business and IT stakeholders on the architecture strategy, roadmap, and best practices. The lead architect will ensure all required processes are followed, documentation is created, and FIMs enforced.
  • Support solution architect in your region to define solution architecture and design seeking practical approaches that optimize cost and reuse
  • Participate and give suggestions on clear choice adhering to Group Standards and Guidelines.
  • Articulate and communicate the Compliance and AML strategic architecture and design to business and engineering teams
  • Understand the requirement and Identifying gaps if any.
  • Participate in estimation using the guidelines
  • Prepare and participate in creating Design documents as per requirements and within schedule.
  • Design for non-functional requirements around performance, reliability, scalability & security
  • Execute project specific development activities in accordance to applicable standards and quality parameters.
  • Contribute actively to the wider Architecture and Design communities in sharing knowledge, and supporting peers
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies
  • Review and approve technical design documents and participate in discussions
  • Build strong relationships with business teams
  • Should be excellent team member and work as a cross-functional team member and liaise with other Specialist, Architects.
  • Identify and conduct training programs.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including boards/senior executive management.
  • Experience working in across breadth of architecture covering Business, Application, Data, Technology architecture domains across a complex domain.


  • I ndustry knowledge of Corporate Transaction Banking domain
  • Knowledge of Compliance, specifically AML regulations, policies, and best practices (ACAMS certification a plus)
  • GCP Architect Certification
  • Cloud technologies specifically GCP, kubernetes, containerization, Docker
  • Knowledge of Python, Hadoop, HQL
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration
  • API integration, API gateways & REST standards
  • Unix/Linux OS, Shell scripting
  • Event driven design and streaming technologies - Apache Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub
  • Traditional messaging & integration technologies like Khafka, Dataflow, MQ
