Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

The AD, Supplier Management will be responsible for:
  • Leading and supporting the implementation and the maintenance of Supplier Management program with selected critical suppliers within the Global Product Development & Supply (GPS) Group
  • Ensuring alignment with Enterprise SM program principles and processes (including segmentation processes, performance monitoring, governance) to ensure supplier strategic plan(s) are in sync with BMS expectations and requirements
  • Providing periodical up-dates to the Supplier Management enterprise group (under the responsibility of SP&C group) about progress of SM program implementation in GPS, major issues or criticalities and Best practices
  • Ensuring timely completion of recurring activities (including but not limited to the annual supplier base segmentation) for all categories within the GPS group (Direct Materials, DP&A, CTDO, Indirect)
  • Provide guidelines and support to Category Leaders for the definition of Supplier Management strategy, processes, and governance
  • Driving operational excellence with Global Product and Supply (GPS) critical suppliers to improve supplier performance, supplier development and risk management, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and cost of quality, and align specifications
  • Support metric and dashboard maintenance and KPI’s development to reflect and support business needs (predictive indicators to support risk assessment and monitoring, support resiliency programs)
  • Work with critical suppliers and to develop programs to improve supplier’s process robustness, product quality and service level
  • Lead and support internal process improvement to ensure efficiency and optimal utilization of resources
  • Support the SWAT and RTB (Run the Business) weekly meetings with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to identify and escalate supply risks
  • Enable development and execution of GPS Procurement strategy (A3)
  • Enable development and execution of GPS supplier Conference

  • General Managers, Materials Directors, Site Department Heads, Site Procurement and Suppliers
  • GP Category Leaders
  • Contact with Site/HQ finance as required


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or master’s degree, extensive track-record with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supplier management, operational excellence, or procurement roles
  • Experience with direct materials, manufacturing, indirect materials, and services highly desired
  • Experience with managing strategic and integrated external partnership is required
  • Demonstrates successful track of record of driving performance and change across a complex matrix within a global enterprise
