Company Background:

ONE Brands, formerly OhYeah! Nutrition, was founded in 1999 by Ron McAfee, a pioneer and leader in the protein category. Historically, OhYeah focused on the nutrition space, offering protein shakes, powders and supplements. In late 2015, OhYeah launched their newest innovation - the ONE Bar. In just 12 months, ONE Bar exploded onto the marketplace, amassing a huge following despite limited distribution. The launch of the ONE Birthday Cake Bar sealed the deal on ONE's position as a leading better-for-you indulgent protein snack, touting superior taste and texture.

Since then, OhYeah rebranded to ONE Brands, continued to innovate into new flavors and continued to increase awareness, distribution and household penetration nationally. In October 2019, ONE Brands was acquired by the Hershey Company and yet maintains offices in Charlotte, NC and Boulder, CO. In 2020, ONE Brands was given a new bar brand to manage under Hershey's better-for-you snacking portfolio, FULFIL. FULFIL was started in Dublin, Ireland and has grown exponentially in the UK Market.

About the Job:

The Digital eCommerce Marketing Manger role is directly responsible for developing and growing the Amazon and omnichannel business by closely collaborating with internal and external cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the business. Including planning, content strategy and development, promotional/ advertising/merchandising programming, operations, agency management and search optimization. The role plans and executes all tactics directed to maximizing the performance of the company's digital account portfolio. The role is also responsible for developing best-in-class industry, competitive landscape, and market trend knowledge and layer it with account-specific insights to uncover and pursue revenue growth opportunities.

Main responsibilities are heavily rooted in digital and include supporting the Sales team with retailer ecommerce site content, exposure tracking, new product set-up, merchandising as well as handling all the administrative aspects within the retail marketing department.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Leads each Amazon media, search, and digital merchandising relationship with AMG (Amazon Media Group) across all services (.com, 3P, Pantry, Fresh/Prime Now, Business, Go, and Fresh Delivery).
  • Facilitates the internal planning and execution of ONE's merchandising / marketing / promotional / content plans / search optimization - plans are crafted in collaboration with Amazon sales team, as well as the sales and marketing teams
  • Owns relationship with content development / creative agencies, which includes Tinuiti and Flywheel. •
  • Uses available data & insights (Vendor Central, OneClickRetail, Amazon Brand View Pro, Walmart.com, Criteo, etc.) to provide sound merchandising / marketing / promotional / product optimization recommendations (prescriptive selling).
  • Establishes media reporting/KPI's to ensure progress against objectives and communicates campaign results back to the organization
  • Closely collaborates with IS, Digital Marketing, Insights and Brand teams to leverage mobile/digital technology expertise, available digital assets and learnings in executing the Digital plan.
  • Owns the revenue/spend plans and is the expert on the Digital platform as a part of the Holistic media planning.
  • Manages Digital-specific DMEs for his/her accounts.
  • Create & execute unique sales driving programs in partnership with the Sales team
  • Identify areas of opportunity within the competitive landscape based on new marketing platforms, trends, product assortment & incentive offerings.
  • Collect new product information, including product set-up forms, product images, copy, videos & tagging, for all retailers to ensure an accurate & timely launch.
  • Monitor copy, images & videos on live product pages to ensure accuracy & real time relevance.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and suggest updates when necessary.


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

  • Amazon Media & Digital Commerce agency experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Digital merchandising and digital marketing required.
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact initiatives.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Proven ability to translate insights into sound merchandising / marketing / promotional / product optimization recommendations (prescriptive selling).
  • Superb communication skills, including strong oral and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels.
  • Excellent management skills, with the ability to delegate and manage multiple priorities while generating positive relationships.
  • Aptitude for problem solving/quick learning
  • Positive attitude and high level of energy


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:
  • BA/BS in business, marketing or comparable field degree
  • MBA or equivalent preferred but not required


Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience managing a digital/eCommerce business - CPG background preferred
