As the Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will work as part of the North American Finance Service Center (NAFSC) and will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to transacting key business processes on behalf of many of our North American businesses. In this role, you will be part of the Credit & Collections team within the NAFSC, which allows for cross training on several tasks supporting several business transactions.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Involving accounting transactions and interaction with Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Intercompany Center of Excellence (COE), General Ledger (GL) and duties related to reporting
  • Coordinating and clear cash receipts and ensure their correct accounting and reconciliation through to the GL
  • Completing the trade AR cash collection process including customer account research, proactively contacting customers to confirm timely payment, resolving customer issues independently as well as in conjunction with the appropriate finance business partner and/or commercial team member
  • Providing AR statements to customers and registering and managing trade AR disputes
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of NAFSC transactions
  • Preparing Customer account reconciliations and researching AR transactions to support customer needs and/or internal/external audit requests

Basic Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and 3+ years of accounting and/or accounts receivable experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree/CPA in Accounting or Finance and 1+ years of accounting and/or accounts receivable experience, OR
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 5+ years of accounting and/or accounts receivable experience in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Requirements:
  • CPA or CPA Candidate
  • Experience working with SAP FI, CO, & SD modules and/or Hyperion Financial Management
  • Experience in advanced functionality with MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups and Macros
