Summary: Responsible for building and partnering on Cable-wide employee engagement initiatives which further Comcast's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Serves as subject matter expert and provides guidance as required. The role will develop strategies to 1) increase volume of skilled applicants and hires from underrepresented backgrounds, and 2) Identify opportunities across Cable that build an inclusive and engaged workplace (Partner with Leaders, HRBP's, ULearn, and Talent Management/Acquisition). The role will leverage data from YourVoice (employee survey) and eNPS. The scope of the role will be Cable-wide engagement and employee initiatives.
Job Description

Core Responsibilities
  • Supports Sr.Vice President/Chief Diversity Officer for Cable in designing Cable practices, programs and policies that reinforce and enhance DEI in our company.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of current DEI topics, programs, and trends (internally and externally). Also, uses data to recommend and develop best in class practices that are well suited for Comcast
  • Partners with Cable DE&I team to design and implement our strategy for measuring, understanding and utilizing employee and candidate sentiment. Achieving this through a multi-pronged listening strategy which includes engagement and pulse surveys, focus groups, and external sources of feedback.
  • Responsible for collaborating with TA/TM in designing diversity hiring frameworks, amplifying and driving diverse slating, and creating strategic solutions across the enterprise with a particular focus on influencing the hiring decisions of leaders
  • Works closely with Talent Acquisition to track talent acquisition metrics and provides data and reports on a regular basis of Diversity hiring. Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of external partnerships and internal/external programs
  • Leads special projects spanning the DE&I portfolio's multiple areas of accountability including: annual Your Voice surveys, eNPS, Employee Resource Groups, and DE&I Councils
  • Partner in the development of key metrics for DE&I initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships with key HQ and Division stakeholders.
  • Support programs that will include the company's internal governance of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Provide thought leadership to hiring managers by developing innovative initiatives and recommendations that influence hiring and promotion decisions, drive business strategy and demonstrate the impact of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Advise, partner and support Talent Acquisition in their efforts to work with professional organizations and universities in order to attract diverse candidates for full time roles as well as internships.
  • Partners with employee resource groups across our geographically Cable to drive engagement and cultural change.
  • Partner with HRBPs, recruiters and leaders to analyze employee and candidate feedback.
  • Develop and collaborate to create meaningful action plans that to drive improvements where needed.
  • Recommend and lead employee engagement activities and partner on community service programs and events.
  • Partner with Communications to build out content that can be leveraged internally and externally.
  • Partner on defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators by developing and monitoring metrics for various aspects of diversity, culture, and engagement. Focusing on the creation of dashboards and automatic reporting in order to track trends and progress and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Effectively analyze and utilize data to support recommendations and to measure impact.
  • Serve as a key team member on projects that involve our workplace, the return to our workplaces, and digital employee experiences.
  • Partner with ULearn, Talent, HRBP's, Corp DE&I and Analytics on programs that will further diversity hiring, retention and development of a diverse talent pipeline .
  • Use data from YourVoice, eNPS and huddles to serve as a sounding board and a way to get actionable idea generation.
  • Use analytics to help both assess opportunities and support recommendations


Education Level

  • Excellent oral, written and platform communication skills.
  • Experience in using a variety of internal forms of communication to promote interest and build awareness of Comcast programs and messaging related to DE&I, Culture and Engagement.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Able to connect, advise, and influence senior leaders.
  • Highly analytical with a proven track record of collecting and using data - especially employee engagement data.
  • Has created and measured impactful strategies and programs based on data insights.
