Project Manager/ Scrum Master

The project manager is responsible for all aspects of assigned projects including leading, planning, monitoring, motivating, and communicating with project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality while establishing deadlines in delivering technology and business projects. The project manager is responsible for managing multiple projects in varying stages of the project lifecycle, and will collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, team members, vendors and other departments to support timely delivery of the projects.
  • Lead technology and business initiatives and ongoing maintenance efforts across multiple departments
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication between the project team and the business units
  • Drive agile ceremonies and project meetings
  • Lead collaborative, dynamic planning process including defining and prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
  • Facilitate team workshops to elicit business and technical requirements including a clear definition of acceptance criteria and definition of completion
  • Clearly understand all requirements, deadlines, risks, and dependencies to assist with the creation of the features and high level timeline
  • Facilitate prioritization sessions and balance multiple priorities across multiple project teams
  • Ensure all work required is captured and prioritized prior to planning sessions
  • Lead sprint planning sessions to identify the work that will be completed within the specified time-frame
  • Identify and actively remove project impediments
  • Assist with creating test plans and ensure all required support plans, change requests and a dequate acceptance testing are completed prior to deployments
  • Complete EPMO reporting for each project in accordance with the EPMO guidelines
  • Facilitate sprint and final project retrospective meetings to discuss lessons learned


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, economics, information systems, computer science, or related field required
  • A minimum of three years of experience in IT and business project management including business analysis
  • Prior experience with software development life cycle
  • Financial industry knowledge strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of waterfall and agile concepts, practices and procedures
  • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to build strong, positive working relationships with business and technology project teams
  • Experience with Rally (CA Agile Central) or other agile software, SharePoint, and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) preferred
  • Agile certifications, PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Sigma certifications a plus
