Accountant II

Position Specific Description

Theideal candidate for our Accountant II rolewill have 1+ years of Oil & Gas experience with domestic on-shore operators as well as some knowledge would be helpful of Oil & Gas systems, specifically Excalibur and SAP. If hired, you will be interacting with other departments such as marketing accounting, production accounting and the land department in order to research Owner Relations issues. Additionally, you will be the main point of contact in the Revenue Accounting team, for the owner relations department answering questions from 3rd parties and send statements to Enverus for CDEX processing. Job Overview

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing financial reports in a timely manner that are in compliance with GAAP and accurately reflect the financial status of the company
• Keeps abreast of and apply GAAP, SEC regulations, and relative company policies, practices and procedures
• Ensures accounting integrity of corporate financial data through the implementation of appropriate internal controls
• Prepares schedules and journal entries
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
