Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide telephonic case management services to members which include coordination or care and behavioral health management consulting
  • Responsible for providing behavioral health education, coaching and treatment decision support for members
  • Assess and interprets customer needs and requirements
  • Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
  • Responsible for assessing current behavioral health status for members
  • Identify and prioritize gaps in care to develop plan of care to empower members to meet identified goals
  • Review treatment plans, and coordinate transitions between various areas of care
  • Obtain information from providers and coordinate services amongst provider group

You'll find the pace fast and the challenges ongoing. We'll expect you to achieve and document measurable results. You'll also need to think and act quickly while working with a diverse member population.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling; OR Licensed Ph.D.; OR Registered Nurse
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Washington
  • Residence in the state of Washington
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health
  • Proficient Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows 10)
  • Computer/typing proficiency to enter/retrieve data in electronic clinical records and provide customer service on the phone concurrently
  • Dedicated office space and access to high speed internet via cable/DSL in your home

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Case Management experience
  • Experience in an inpatient setting
  • Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse
  • Experience working in an environment that required coordinating resources and utilizing multiple groups and resources for patients
  • Experience working with commercial and/or Medicare lines of business
