Director - Oncology Marketing

Site Name: Philadelphia Navy Yard Posted Date: Aug 2 2021 This position is responsible for the development and execution of Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing strategy and tactics for a Multiple Myeloma product. Key areas of emphasis for this role include: HCP Hematology strategy and tactics, HCP (heme onc and eye care professional) promotion, development of core visual aid for field representatives, and HCP non-personal promotion (e.g., digital and paid media, direct mail, eCRM). Individual will lead and work collaboratively across the commercial brand team and will play a critical role in integrating the execution of the marketing plan across multiple customer segments. You will work in close partnership with the global brand team, OBU franchise team, cross-functional matrix teams and copy approval team. This position will require outstanding leadership in many areas, including clinical acumen, building commercial strategy, creation of tactics to support strategy, develop KPIs and measurement plans, cross-functional collaboration, and coaching and development of the HCP team. These responsibilities include some of the following Lead overall HCP brand strategy including evolution of campaign and promotional message claims Facilitate development and execution of hcp brand promotional plan and programs ensuring consistency with our strategic plan Lead the annual brand / operating plan process by shaping the tactical plan and budget required to achieve the brand's stated objectives Cultivate relationships with field force and external customers, develop deep market insights, and customize commercial strategies across various customer segments Provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and agency/vendor partners to identify and implement market analyses, competitive benchmarking, and other key analyses to inform marketing tactics and programs Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets Partner cross-functionally and with external partners to define KPIs and analyze performance of key commercial programs on an ongoing basis Partner with regulatory, medical, compliance and legal through the development and approval phases of to ensure all materials are held to the highest standards Contribute to a culture of “One Team”, driving organizational continuity and alignment across the Oncology franchise in a rapid-paced and agile way Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's degree, Marketing, Business or Science 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience with experience in HCP and/or patient marketing 2+ years of Oncology/Hematology marketing experience Well versed in core product marketing principles and campaign execution Demonstrated ability to drive insights from analytics and create innovative customer-focused programs Demonstrated strength in oral / written communications and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects Comfort operating in a highly regulated environment and industry Global marketing and product launch experience preferred Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Global marketing and product launch experience preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Why GSK?
