Job Summary
Responsible for (1) strategic revenue growth evaluation, (2) financial modeling, analysis, and tracking of promotions, pricing, and strategic initiatives, and (3) proactively providing analytics and insights about revenue performance in acquisition and base management channels for Comcast Business - a multi-billion-dollar, revenue growth leader for Comcast Corporation. Partners cross-functionally with business leaders to develop, size, and track strategic revenue growth recommendations and pricing proposals in the small-medium business (SMB) and enterprise spaces. Creates and analyzes promo/package/pricing financial models and performance trackers. Participates in presentations to direct manager, cross-functional business partners, and leadership teams.
Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develops mechanically-sound, input-driven financial models to evaluate revenue impact from promotion, pricing, and strategic initiative proposals.
  • Anticipates questions from leadership by building easy-to-understand views of financial and customer activity assumptions and results within financial models.
  • Creates tools and analytics to track promotion, pricing, and strategic initiative performance against original business cases.
  • Connects expected results from promotion, pricing, and strategic initiative modeling with revenue forecasts and budgets by partnering closely with revenue forecasting/budgeting team.
  • Participates in creation of 5-year long-range plan for Comcast Business revenue modeling, inclusive of SMB and enterprise business lines.
  • Drives data-gathering activities and analyses into tangible, decision-enabling deliverables.
  • Delivers insightful recommendations through compelling presentations to ultimately influence business decisions.
  • Identifies and shares analyses of revenue growth trends, sales channel revenue sold performance, and regional/divisional benchmarking.
  • Ensures stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and meaningful data to support and monitor revenue growth objectives.
  • Learns and understands the company's data products and architecture; engages external team for sustainable shared solutions.
  • Acts as steward of financial accuracy and data integrity.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provides budget, forecast and variance analysis and related reports as needed.
  • Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends.
  • Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.
  • Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate weekly, monthly and annual reports.
  • Interacts as team member and sets the pace for the Financial Analysts team. Interfaces with other department member on special projects or on an as-needed basis.
  • Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Job Specification:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • Field of Study: Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Power Point.
  • Tableau and SQL proficiency preferred.
  • Financial modeling experience required.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills with an ability to present technical/financial concepts to cross-functional teams and non-technical/financial audiences.
  • Experience partnering across multi-functional teams to achieve a common goal.
  • Generally requires 4-6 years of experience.

Pay Range: $66,755.00 - $100,132.49

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
