The Senior Manager, Transportation Risk Management works with the Associated Director, Global Logistics Security, & Operations to ensure compliance with the Supply Chain Security Standards, and the management of Logistics Incident Reporting Processes. This includes oversight of the logistics investigations of unexpected events issues during transportation that potentially affect product quality, impact supply, or do not meet minimum service level requirements.

  • Undergraduate degree preferably in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics.
  • +3 years of experience in Logistic s and/or transportation related activities.
  • Experience in developing and implementing global logistics and transportation security processes is desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience working with transportation service providers is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge in investigations of any kind is desirable.
  • Demonstrated management capabilities, especially in pro -active and reactive issue/potential issue resolution.
  • Exposure to key performance indicators management.
  • Exposure to data management processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Management of logistic security incident investigations process, establishing key performance indicators based on the LIR process.
  • Management of the GPS Monitoring process, and the Global Weather Alert Model to mitigate the risk of cargo theft, and transportation disruptions.
  • Centralized point of contact for Transportation Operations involving Puerto Rico Manufacturing sites.
  • Liaise with External Manufacturing and Market Regions to facilitate efficient and standardized transportation security process execution.
  • Drive performance of the LIR third party administrator to monitor LIR execution, performance metrics, and visualization tools to improve the incident trending analysis.
  • Lead, weekly, monthly, and quarterly review forums to ensure LIR process is on track.
  • Coordinate with the corresponding SRMs a direct involvement with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure adequate support to the LIR process.
