Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.
Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other Voice Remote teams to implement product and technical requirements for the client facing API as well as other APIs used to communicate with related microservices .

  • Maintain the backend and implement code changes, new microservices, and web applications to support the Voice Remote . Assists in the roll-out of software releases.
  • Continually improve the Voice Remote b ackend code base to increase reliability, reduce latency, and enhance code maintainability.
  • Oversee and coordinate research , documentation, requirements gathering initiatives. I ncluding evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
  • Assist in tracking and evaluating performance metrics. Recommend architectural improvements and e nsure the team delivers improvements on time,to specification and within budget.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regardstopractices, procedures and techniques. Serve as a guide and mentor for junior level Software Development Engineers.

  • Work with Quality Assurance teamtodetermine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
  • Display expertise in process design and redesign skills. Present and defend architectural, design and technical choicestointernal audiences.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Pay Range: $113,591.82 - $170,387.72

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
