The MetLife Investment Management Marketing (MIM Marketing) team is tasked with collaborating with the Institutional Client Group and Public Fixed Income, Private Capital and Real Estate investment teams to grow MIM's third-party asset management business. We also support the marketing efforts of our Agriculture Finance business. MIM Marketing is a strategic, client-focused marketing practice that is dedicated to driving business impact in all regions where MIM is offering investment management and commercial lending services. With a focus on client led value propositions, relevant client engagement and fostering a purpose driven brand, the team is committed to enhancing MIM's relationship with its clients and showing clients that MIM is institutional, but far from typical.

Role Value Proposition

The Marketing Consultant II is responsible for supporting the MetLife Investment Management Marketing team, as well as establishing relationships with our Institutional Client Group, Investment teams, Operations, Legal & Compliance and Finance teams. The primary focus is assisting with the planning and execution of marketing programs, gaining exposure to projects across MIM's asset classes as well as distribution channels. Projects include, but are not limited to direct marketing, events, print and digital collateral, advertising, and thought leadership. Success in this position requires you to be proactive, collaborative, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have superior attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the rollout of marketing programs including sponsorships of events, content, and thought leadership programs for our investment business as well as direct mail programs for our Agricultural Finance business.
  • Provide support in managing quarterly webcasts with clients ensuring they are professionally produced.
  • Provide overall support in producing webcasts, videos and eventually podcasts.
  • Create and update marketing collateral on a quarterly basis.
  • Understand and manage approval workflows to ensure materialsare in compliance withall applicable rules/regulations and are approved for external distribution.
  • Assist in quantifying the success of marketing programs by establishing standard measurement processes and providing suggestions to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage monthly budget and invoice process with relevant vendors/partners
  • Special projects, ad hoc requests and miscellaneous duties as needed.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 3-7+ years of related marketing experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel,PowerPoint and Word
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with people throughout theorganization
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing marketplace
  • Continually shows initiative to learn and develop
  • Good at anticipating next steps and proactive in moving projects forward
  • Willing to take ownership and be accountable for actions

  • Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred
  • Exposure to the investment management industry is a plus
