Job Summary

This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only.

Support the Mobile Construction Workforce team within the Projects and Construction Organization. Main job responsibilities are to project support the Work Integration team with all processes and procedures. Develop and maintain methods for tracking key business metrics to track group performance. Provide analytical and functional support to the team regarding all aspects involved with Outside Plant Engineering and Construction. Support MCW vendor management process inclusive of blanket contracts and manhole and conduit contracts. Work with MCW and cross-functional teams to optimize the process flow from multiple organizations through the Work integration team. Develop and prepare reports and presentations for senior management. Position will be required to provide ad-hoc reporting.

Interact, communicate and champion information transfer to maximize implementation of improvement opportunities, including evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies. Lead and/or provide technical analysis for P&C projects and systems. This position will support the core functions of the performance and reporting team including Scorecard, key performance indicators update, P&C Strategic Initiatives, local Diversity & Inclusion plans, and development and monitoring of trends and ad hoc analyses.

Job Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Collect, report, and provide stakeholders with accurate, reliable, and timely data and information on supplier performance reporting
  • Facilitate review of actual cost reports and variances with senior leadership
  • Develop strong client relationships at all levels within the Line of Business and Utility Company; interface with executive Leadership, process owners, and management to support, obtain, and act on feedback for all elements of the Scorecard and Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead Scorecard process for P&C, including annual target setting, annual definition update, defining new metrics, and monthly data intake and calculation validation
  • Assist with the quarterly and semi-annual P&C and Utility Strategic Initiatives update process
  • Work directly with the Senior Leadership Team and present monthly updates on key performance indicators
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by P&C management in an accurate, complete, and timely manner
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities and support cross-functional project teams
  • Perform the facility projects portfolio reporting and variance analysis on various phases of project management and collaborate with key business partners to assess their areas of the project execution process
  • Assist in the preparation of all project documentation including but not limited to SOW, PEP, Purchase Requisitions, etc.
  • Create and implement reporting standardizations


Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills:
  • BS/BA Degree or minimum of six years of professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated analytical ability, quantitative and presentation skills with experience addressing / presenting to leadership teams and external clients
  • Demonstrated strong personal computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, business sense and high energy
  • Demonstrated ability to work across departmental boundaries, on multiple tasks, and with a high level of precision

Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge of Tableau, interactive data visualization software
