Applications Systems Analyst -Oncology Care & Research IS

The Oncology Care & Research department is comprised of EHR Beacon, EHR Willow, Willow Ancillary Support and all enterprise research applications. Serve as the primary customer interface and contact for all research application and project needs.

This position will manage application support, GRC, access requests, coordinate with Epic on building out feature set, coordinate with EDI on reporting requests for Progeny and associated application suite

Requirements Gathering & Analysis for end user requests
Responsible for the efforts to identify and scope the client's problems and needs and actively gather detailed requirements. Analyze requirements and needs to develop initial design concept and technical approach. Document client needs and requirements using appropriate standardized departmental documentation.

Database management and analytics
Ability to understand the research data request and translate to scientific queries. Ability to read/understand the application Sybase database and efficiently write queries and create reports to support clinical needs and research initiatives.

Customer support and service
Manage customer relationship. Responsible for operations and maintenance of assigned systems

Education Required:
Bachelor's degree

Experience Required:
Two years experience in domain, analysis, design, project management, programming or Epic software. May substitute require education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.

Experience Preferred
Three (3) years of business and technical analysis/implementation experience delivering healthcare-related solutions. Experience in database and report generation capabilities. Experience in writing queries and creating reports.
