Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance, the Global Controller is responsible for overseeing the global Financial Reporting team and for ensuring global consistency across the regional accounting functions.


· To lead, coach and train direct reports; Drive a high level of engagement throughout the Accounting and Financial Reporting function

· Develop a detailed understanding of the operations of the entities within Allegis Global Solutions, as well as a basic understanding of the other global entities

· Be the subject matter expert on the proper accounting treatment of all AGS transactions; provide support to the Financial Operations teams for complex accounting issues

· Manage the build, development, and maintenance of budget and forecast reports using the Hyperion budgeting platform

· Act as primary liaison to budget contributors, facilitating the annual budget and monthly forecast vs. actual process, and coordinating follow-up analysis and adjustments with Operations, Financial Reporting and Accounting teams

· Support and strengthen the annual budget process working alongside organization stakeholders, budget leads and contributors through training, collaboration, and identifying enhancements for continuous improvement.

· Review the global balance sheet and income statements for all Allegis Global Solutions entities and ensure accuracy and submission deadlines are met

· Ensure adequate controls are in place in order to report accurately on operations and ensure that processes are implemented and working efficiently including being the key liaison with various front office and support teams as required

· In coordination with the regional accounting management, ensure the quality of the reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts

· Oversee the development and maintenance of the monthly reporting packages for executive leaders and other audiences.

· Minimum 12 years of Accounting, Financial Reporting and Budgeting experience

·CPA required

· Strong leadership skills, communication skills and work ethic

· Knowledge and experience commensurate with this role

· Experience with multi-currency reporting and transactions

· Experience with intercompany transactions

· Ability to evaluate and develop efficient and effective operational processes and policies

· Proven track record of leading and managing diverse teams

· Strong business judgment and organizational agility

· Strong accounting systems experience; Hyperion/FCC a plus
