About the Role

The Business Operations organization at Walmart Connect is the connective tissue of the organization and stands at the center of the Walmart Connect team. We works across teams to drive cross-functional alignment and enable growth and scalability of the business. We are the internal problem solvers of the organization, the swiss army knife team, and we lead and drive strategic decision-making and execution of strategic initiatives across the entire company.

The Director of Business Operations – Business Management will:
  • Be the lead for key shared corporate teams, HR, Talent Acquisition, Compliance & Controllership, corporate communications for the Walmart Connect business. Partner with those organizations to drive the growth of the WC business. This includes
    • Taking complex business issues and solving them end-to-end through a combination of insightful analysis, consensus building, project management
    • Drive execution of complex initiatives in these domains through program management, leadership, analysis, problem solving and whatever is needed
    • Be the business lead for all things audit and compliance related
  • Own and drive workforce management
    • Build, own and maintain workforce mgmt. processes for headcount to allow for efficient hiring, reporting, planning
    • Drive analysis of headcount and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. Work with cross-functional partners to enable initiatives and changes for continuous improvement.
  • Be the main business partner for people and culture initiatives such as culture club, team events, space etc.
  • Own WC all hands and other large team meetings including content, facilitation and management
  • Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.
  • Build & manage high performing team, provide mentorship and leadership
  • Be game to take on anything else fun that comes up


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 10+years relevant work experience in Management Consulting and/or Business Operations
  • Digital advertising or media experience a plus
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical and quantitative skills (left & right brain)
  • Super strategic but also able to be in the weeds as needed
  • Superb ability to manage, communicate and work with C-level executives
  • Ability to strategically structure and use frameworks to break down complex problems into clear steps and plans
  • Experiencing managing and leading a team
  • Proven experience leading and managing large cross-functional projects and teams
  • Detailed oriented and organized with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
  • High EQ skills and ability to communicate clearly with all different types of people
  • Exceptional follow through and process management skills
  • High level of accountability, proven ability to take ownership
  • Self-motivated and extremely proactive
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change
