You will design, develop, and implement leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment for customer organizations. Such security measures include intrusion detection and prevention, software and system security protection through application of secure design protocols and reverse engineering, and data assurance.

  • Review and participate in drafting/editing key documents related to Defensive Cyberspace Operations for Space (DCO-S)
  • Participate in engineering working groups to provide input on cyber threats
  • Analyze cyber task orders for relevance to space enterprise mission systems
  • Analyze system accreditations and supporting documentation to quantify system risk based on impact, vulnerability, exposure, and threat
  • Track and report status of cyber vulnerability assessments (CVAs)
  • Analyze hardware/software of space enterprise mission systems to identify vulnerabilities
  • Track and report status of Cyber Task Orders, CVAs, security posture, and other cyber events
  • Notify Program Offices of CTOs and cybersecurity threats
  • Track and report assessments of mission systems
  • Develop standard operating procedures for cyber event reporting
  • Participate in planning sessions to gather and share DCO information
  • Report compliance of CTOs for mission systems
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with cyber intelligence analysis and cyber risk assessment

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance and authorized access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Superior communication skills with proven ability to interface with senior military and civilian leaders
  • 8+ years of experience in the areas of responsibility listed above with a military service or other DOD component
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system engineering and integration activities.
  • DODM 8570 certification IAM Level I or higher
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
