Network Operations Analyst

We are seeking a Network Operations Analyst to join our team! The Network Operations Analyst will help support and maintain company networks.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to infrastructure SDWAN and LAN environments.
  • Actively monitor and performance manage critical client network infrastructures to maintain maximum up-time.
  • Proactively manage incidents troubleshooting SDWAN application issues by diagnosing, resolving faults, and providing regular updates to the internal process owners.
  • Maintain network stability within Global WAN environments, and act quickly and accordingly to address network service disruptions/slowdowns to bring the network quickly back to an optimal state.
  • Work with third party vendors during routine deployment and outages to ensure escalations are handled in a professional, consistent, and relentless manner.
  • Support integration of new products and/or software release upgrades into the current environment.
  • Provide daily status reports, report metrics, dashboards, and other operational measures on a regular basis


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related field
  • 1+ years of relevant Network Operations/Engineering experience
  • Some experience with routing protocols and concepts (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, etc.)
  • Knowledge and inner workings of TCP/IP, Layer 2 and 3 switching. Ability to grasp complex concepts and architecture.
  • Knowledge of enterprise switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Ability to work on a team and in an individual setting.
  • Aptitude and skill for training other Global team members
  • Self-starter, willing to take on tasks and ask for help when needed
  • Ability to operate effectively and professionally under pressure
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of personalities and skillsets, and improve the quality of IT processes
  • CCNA, CCNP or equivalent level of knowledge desired but not required
