PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Manages and oversees the strategic and tactical analysis and reporting for all Renal Products & Pharmaceuticals sales, growth initiatives, and market share metrics. Performs and advise on competitor and forward-looking analysis for strategic planning and forecast; provides business analysis on new business ventures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages, oversees, and coordinates the consolidation of all sales financial budgets and forecast process and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership team. This role includes extensive involvement within the Sales & Marketing team to develop key assumptions and adhoc forward-looking projections to support the strategic direction. Manages and reviews all executive level budget and forecast presentations.
  • Oversee Sales Administration Sales Management System (SMS) for technical and end-user training and serve as a liaison to FMCNA IT product managers. Leadership responsibilities include (1) on-board all key stakeholders in the sales forecasting tool, production volume planning and various CRM instances (2) develop sales target and KPI's in SMS (3) all end-users who are involved in sales administration and support roles.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.
  • Manages and approves all new business reporting hierarchies and system migration for Business Analysis and Sales Administration. Reviews and evaluates all software tools related to strategic planning and commissions. Reviews all SSRs and acts as a liaison and partner between Business Analysis, Corporate IT, and other technical programmers. Responsible for reviewing all new and modified business requirements and recommending appropriate action steps for implementation and go-live.
  • Reviews industry trends and compiles competitor matrixes to assist with strategic initiatives for Renal Products & Pharmaceuticals. Develops and presents executive level presentations as directed.
  • Manages the department's SOPs by reviewing and updating business analysis processes and controls, documenting and writing training manuals, and testing the efficiency and effectiveness of the SOPs.
  • Interprets and recommends change to policies and establishes procedures when the business environment affects the scope of the customer and product mix, product launches, and/or key management sales assumptions for accruals.
  • Technically proficient in the specific department and knowledge of industry practice and business principles. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
  • Frequently interacts and collaborate with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers.
  • Interacts frequently with internal departments and external customers; particularly in problem resolution. Acts as an advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Responsible for hiring, coaching and counseling employees, including performance reviews, disciplinary action and terminations.
  • Assists with various projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION:
  • Responsible for the direct supervision of the business analysis team.


EDUCATION :
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Finance, or Information Systems required.
  • MBA strongly preferred.


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum 6 - 8 years of work experience in finance and business analysis with extensive knowledge of financial modeling; experience in medical products or in a pharmaceutical environment required; t echnical systems experience on financial ERP systems front-end and back-end environment and other simulation-based modeling required.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or project/program management experience preferred.
  • Experience with multiple SAP/ERP Financial Platforms and advanced Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, Word, & PowerPoint) required.
  • Strong project management experience. Ability to multi-tasks independent of direct supervision.
  • Developed supervisory skills including mentoring and leadership.
  • Ability to present concise and accurate executive level summaries in a professional manner.
  • Must have strong oral and verbal presentation skills; ability to communicate with Executive level management
  • Must be proficient in delivering consistent results in a busy, highly reactionary environment.
  • Provide cross-functional support to all departments with RTG and GMO.
  • Ability to drive change through positive motivation and consensus.
  • Strong experience with Pharma and Medical Product related metrics.
