I. Job Summary

Reports to the WMSS (Windsor) Director of Compliance. Provides oversight on Sarbanes Oxley operational compliance in certain operational areas and focused execution in ensuring operational compliance to the terms of our client contracts. Responsible for executing on audit results as directed by the Director of Compliance. Business analytics supporting needed operational or compliance required improvements will also be a key focus for this position

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Supports the execution of the SOX compliance, write-off, contract management and other compliance processes & policies.
  • Ensures all Windsor operational SOX processes and controls are institutionalized.
  • Creates and monitors business metrics that support client contract compliance.
  • Identifies and evaluates significant audit concerns and reports them to Operations & Finance management.
  • Supports internal audit by executing of recommended operational corrective actions.
  • Drives, promotes and ensures the consistent use of business policies, processes and procedures necessary for maintaining an audit ready environment.
  • Maintains operational compliance of our client contracts.
  • Supervises the work of Operations Compliance analyst staff to ensure appropriate assessments, procedures and action plans have been developed; provide direction when necessary.
  • Oversees Compliance teams' financial and operational goals; monitors individual performer and team metrics to ensure that the goals are met and exceeded, including Contracts Management, Write off, Acorn/MAS CPI and Closed market alignments, Write-off application, Service Adjustments and negative margin audits, client audits and escalations.
  • Other projects as assigned

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of employees. This includes:
  • Direct supervision of _7 full-time employees and others as assigned
  • Offshore team support and metrics monitoring of 1 supervisor and 11 India employees

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

Education : Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of, HS Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant experience.

Experience : Five years previous experience (in addition to education requirement).

Prior recent Big 4 experience a plus.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

CPA, CIA, CISA or other audit certifications preferred

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with clients and management at all levels
  • Able to work as a team member/leader with people of differing backgrounds and experience levels
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to readily identify key issues and risks and recommendations for improvement.
  • Strong report and report writing capabilities.
