Public Administration Analyst


This position will be responsible for program coordination of various assigned research projects. You will work closely with investigators to manage the day-to-day operational activities of assigned projects, including but not limited to managing project timelines and deliverables, coordinating logistics, developing project-related documents, conducting literature searches, managing/compiling project data, coding qualitative data (e.g. from interviews and focus groups), ensuring compliance with funder's requirements, coordinating regulatory approvals (e.g. IRBs), and preparing project progress reports.

You will also be responsible for overseeing data collection and management, such as running data cleaning programs, extracting data from the study database, and conducting ad hoc data queries. In addition you will provide administrative support functions such as organizing webinars/trainings, teleconferences, and project-related meetings. Other duties include coordinating and assisting in preparing grant applications, editing and formatting manuscripts for publications and participating in various writing assignments.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Robust interpersonal skills and ability to work in an environment with constantly shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and diverse work styles

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point

Strong writing skills, including experience with grant proposals, peer-reviewed manuscripts, and progress or technical reports

Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Ability to organize complex projects into discreet steps.


Master's Degree in Public Health or relevant field experience with qualitative analysis and coding

Experience with quantitative data cleaning and analysis

Demonstrated skills in managing regulatory (e.g. IRB), publication compliance, and applying statistical techniques and methods to analyzing and interpreting data
