Study Assistant


The Cousins Center for Psychoneuroimmunology, in the UCLA Semel Institute
for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter
who will work in research studies examining the interrelationships between
behavior and immunity. Primary duties include:
  • Assisting in screening and phone-interviewing subject participants with provided script
  • Scheduling patients for in person interviews with our Project Coordinators
  • Assembling letters and envelopes for mass mailing to recruit subjects
  • Assistance with miscellaneous research released task, etc. data entry

-Demonstrated ability to exercise good organization and work habits required.
-Computer skills to perform data entry using a PC required. Computer literacy is a must.
-Ability to shift priorities and adapt to change required.
-Ability to work independently and to take direction required.
-Skill in writing legible, concise and grammatically correct documentation in Standard English required.
-Excellent communication
skills and ability to communicate effectively over the phone.
