FOCUS Resilience Trainer - Joint Base Lewis-McChord

Responsibilities
FOCUS, or Families OverComing Under Stress, is a program that helps military families manage the challenges of deployment and reintegration. As the FOCUS Resilience Trainer, your key duties include:

*Facilitate delivery of the FOCUS model, a manualized family training intervention and group workshops for military parents and children
*Complete and document individual intakes/orientations and psychological assessments with family participants and service encounters
*Assist with program outreach within the military community
*Oversee and/or ensure tracking and monitoring families' participation in services
*Complete short-term tracking of families that participate in the program

NOTE:
*This position is based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State.
*This project is funded by the United States Department of Defense - Office of the Secretary of Defense. By contract, this position is limited to U.S. citizens.

*Ph.D. or M.A. in Psychology or related fields.
*Experience and/or knowledge about working with military populations.
*Experience in the area of family and/or child services.
*Experience delivering interventions to family and/or children in individual and/or group settings.
*Experience working with children, teens and adults.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance and access to an automobile.
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
*Ability to work flexible hours.
