Clinical Nurse Manager- Neuro Trauma ICU

Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Manager reports to the Unit Director and serves as an expert clinical leader and role model of clinical best practices. Experienced professional who provides direct clinical supervision to professional and technical employees. Spends majority of time (50% or more) achieving clinical organization objectives through the coordinated clinical achievements of subordinate staff. Establishes clinical department goals and objectives. Manages the accountability and stewardship of human, financial, and often physical resources to facilitate coordinated and quality patient care in compliance with departmental and organizational goals and objectives. Functions with a high degree of autonomy and shares 24/7 responsibility with UD.
Qualifications

We're seeking a self-motivated individual with current CA RN licensure and:
BSN or MSN, required
5 years of current acute care experience in an acute hospital
At least two years of charge RN or nurse leadership experience
5 years of ICU experience, required
Exceptional communication, coaching and conflict resolution skills
Advanced clinical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Attainment of progressive leadership positions desirable
Nursing Professional Leadership Certification is a plus
