Summary of Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
•\tDeveloping, implementing and managing a variety of job placement and work-based learning activities for students, including assessment for job readiness, career exploration, navigation, coaching and/or counseling, and job preparation skills training through pre-apprenticeships, job-shadowing, on-the-job training opportunities, etc.
•\tProvide direct support to students, including information and guidance about requirements of specific occupations; job market trends; proper work habits; and techniques for competing for jobs, including appropriate dress, preparing resumes, and interviewing strategies.
•\tCollaborate with business and industries to seek potential candidates for employment.
•\tConnect adult learners with a position within a business or industry.
•\tAssist adult learners in finding training-oriented employment opportunities.
•\tEducate adults and communities in career planning based on a career pathway approach.
•\tMaintain, sustain and nurture relationships with potential employers.
•\tAssess and evaluate situations accurately to benefit adult learners.
•\tProvide business and industry insight within the region.
•\tAssist in refining application materials.
•\tCoordinate with Adult Education and the TANF OSY Case Manager to provide services across the organization.


The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's Degree preferred) in education, business, or a related field with experience in program planning, implementation of policy, budgeting, and coordination of services.
