The U.S. Back Office Customer Service (BOCS) organization is seeking a Annuities Beneficiary Services Associate Manager to lead the Annuity Team of Beneficiary Services. This role will be accountable for the overall performance and administrative activities for a domestic staff and will support a vendor relationship. This role will also be expected to provide guidance and leadership to associates, ensure excellent customer relations, recognize, recommend, implement, and measure operational improvements, and ensure adherence to day-to-day application of organizational policies and procedures. In addition, this role will have full supervisory responsibility including hiring, performance management, coaching, and development of the staff that they lead.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee a team of examiners, temporary staff, and support vendor management.
  • Monitor business controls to ensure processes are compliant to product rules.
  • Meet business key performance indicators.
  • Keen sense of urgency and the ability to address conflicts and provide immediate resolution, including the identification of technical and/or process improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze data and conduct trending of emerging issues and capitalize on opportunities to provide business solutions that optimize processes and enhance the service experience.
  • Handle complex claim case reviews, large claim approvals, exceptions, and litigation requests.
  • Act as a liaison between Beneficiary Services and Knowledge Management to articulate broader educational needs and collaboration on training efforts.
  • Collaborate across business lines.
  • Support new product and system launches.

  • Strong AnnuityBackOffice experience is preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with your team and leaders
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and Excel skills
  • Experience presenting in small group settings
  • Impeccable organization and time management skills
  • Ability to formulate and execute business strategies to meet short and long-term goals

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $74,000-100,000 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
