Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Demonstrates and applies a basic understanding of Human Resources practices and principles to business problems (talent acquisition strategies,
compensation and benefit design strategies); demonstrating a broad understanding of the retail industry through an understanding of the implications
of project outcomes; supporting the development of business cases and recommendations through research and application of key learnings; owning
the delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams; creating alignment among team members (Associate Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR
Business Partners), businesses, and project stakeholders (WMUS, Sam's Club, HR COEs); leveraging networks to accomplish tasks and milestones;
analyzing stakeholder needs; and partnering with stakeholders to share relevant information.

Demonstrates the application of judgment with data (talent acquisition, talent attrition); gathering data, information, and content in a digital
environment and interpreting appropriately; communicating through data story-telling; contributing to the data collection process by following practices
outlined for data quality; and applying appropriate tools (for example, creating an excel template to forecast future attrition based on current models)
for effective representation of the data to stakeholders.

Organizes thoughts and communicates confidently, credibly, and concisely within scope of work in multiple different forms (for example, creating a
story using JIRA or other project management systems); tailoring messaging based on the audience and content (for example creating a presentation
for HR Executives); presenting to teams and to business partners (for example, presenting final project to HR Business partners and / or business
stakeholders); communicating clear messages through basic understanding of relevant context; using relevant data and fact-based information to
articulate results (for example, applying talent attrition data to industry trends and explain results); and providing recommendations in a structured,
concise manner.

Collaborates with business partners to improve business efficiency and effectiveness by developing creative solutions within business areas that
reduce cost and meet business goals (for example, assisting in the creation of talent acquisition strategies based on new business strategies);
exercising judgment to assign activities (for example, knowing which stakeholder or business partner can provide information and would be the best
to resolve a specific task for a given project); and communicating talent experience goals and methodologies in an effective and timely manner.

Implements the development of the associate experience journey by partnering with key stakeholders (for example, Human Resources, Asset
Protection, Operations) to analyze project initiatives; executing outreach, engagement, sustainability, and training efforts; developing theories and
hypotheses that support associate engagement strategies to facilitate informed decision-making.

Drives the execution of projects (for example, talent learning and development, talent acquisition, Total Rewards) and special initiatives by adhering to
project requirements and processes to create project work/action plans, project charters, and business requirements; scheduling and conducting
project-specific meetings; identifying, sourcing and utilizing internal business partners and third-party vendor support for specialized projects that
require unique expertise or skill; ensuring team adheres to prescribed timelines; gathering feedback from cross-functional teams to ensure inclusion;
presenting routine updates to senior leadership to ensure expectations are being met; and closing out projects with final results, "next steps" and
completion memos.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy;
and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other
business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and
recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Project or Program Management, or related field OR four years' experience in Human Resources, Operations, Project management or related field
