Digital Content Management

Job Location: Hershey, PA

Summary Position Description:

This role will own brand relationships as it pertains to facilitating visual content creation for Digital Commerce and owned web properties, with specific focus on top optimized asset development and delivery, brand VIS and packaging initiatives, as well as seasonal content gap identification and fill. Additionally, this role will coordinate and manage owned web initiatives including products/innovation execution and homepage content maintenance by developing new ways of working to increase efficiency and turnaround times.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Meeting with brand teams monthly to understand, capture and document brand priorities, innovation/renovation timelines, and creative updates for execution across retailer.com and owned web
  • Manage product content calendar to track brand timelines, content package deliveries to syndication team, and go-live dates for retailer.com and owned web
  • Identify top optimized asset requirements and opportunities with the brand teams for innovation and packaging redesigns to ensure compliance and delivery
  • Staying up to date on competitive landscape for visual design and asset creation for retailer.com and owned web site experiences
  • Assist in the optimization of visual content for priority product list as defined by digital commerce sales team on retailer.com sites
  • Work with seasons and digital sales teams to identify product lists, by season, for photography; create briefs and shot lists to be approved by brand and design teams for execution by the designated design partner
  • Add assets to existing bundles & create new bundles for innovation/redesign
  • Manage CARB submission process as well as brand team approval for all created content, aligning in advance on requirements and specifications
  • Manage visual content quality audits to ensure continuous compliance with best practices as defined by the latest research and the content playbook


Skills/ Competencies/ Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects/workstreams
  • Change management; ability to define ways of working to drive behavior change
  • Demonstrated communication and project management skills with an understanding of BIC visual assets and creative, preferably in a digital environment


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Education: BS/BA in marketing, design, communications or other comparable field
  • Experience: 2+ years of work experience in digital marketing, or digital commerce, preferably in CPG
