Principal Software Engineer

Qualifications

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field, and eight (8) years' experience in software engineering related role. Employer will also accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field and five (5) years' experience in software engineering related role. Five (5) years' experience with: Solution architecture within a large enterprise environment including concepts, patterns, integrations; Translating business requirements into software solutions; and Providing technical leadership to software projects in an Agile environment. Four (4) years' experience with: Salesforce.com software engineering; developing custom applications, lightning components, controllers, and triggers. Responsibilities

Summary of Duties: Designs solutions to meet project needs, creates architecture specifications, and works across multiple development teams to ensure standards and best practices. Leads tasks for a team in an Agile environment. Ensures technical rigor is in place for the solutions being developed, and conducts code reviews. Participates in proof-of-concept and technology evaluations, vets possibilities, and makes recommendations. Engages clients and business-sponsors for reviews of solutions. Iterates, based on feedback received, and incorporates appropriate requirements in solutions.
